I’ve been trying to update my apps for weeks now and nothing I try will solve it.
ive tried rebooting my phone, using 4g and different WiFi’s, I’ve reset my network setting, I’ve signed out and back in to my Apple ID.
does anyone have any other suggestions or had the same issue?

What is not clear to me is HOW exactly are you trying to update the apps? Which actions are you taking to launch the app updates?
To Manually Launch app updates, open App Store app ➔ Tap on Your icon (Top Right) ➔ Touch and Pull Downward with your finger on that screen and you will see whether any apps need updates and then you can chose to Update All.
