XR Apple IPhone Frozen

Hi,

Since last night, I can't shut off my phone by holding in the volume and side buttons. The phone seems to get hot to the touch when I charge it. Today, it will let me type in my passcode but then a black screen appears. I can't use it for phone calls, texts, or use any of the apps other than the camera function. I got this phone in October. Due to Corona- no Apple stores are open and I can't seem to get a response from Apple support these days. Anyone have any advice?
