ADB and Xcode not detect connected devices, after update to Catalina mac os

Are you running the current version of Xcode?

I'm just guessing here, but since Catalina changed the way it connects to iDevices, perhaps you need the current version of Xcode.

I can see connected Apple devices using version 11.4.1.

Also, you might get some more response from the developer forums.

I have no way to test that, but I would assume an issue with it being able to identify the devices in Catalina being different than in any previous OS. But, not being able to test it, I'm not sure.
