Hair line crack/screen defect

Good morning, I have just noticed a hair line crack in the screen of my IPad Pro. It runs from one side to the other starting near the ‘up’ volume button and to the opposite side.

It has never been dropped or had anything dropped on it. It is kept in an Apple keyboard case and looked after. Only purchased approximately 4 months ago from the Apple Store in Meadowhall, Sheffield.

Please could you advise me on my best course of action? Is it covered under warranty? as I have read on the internet that this defect has happened to other customers devices.
