iPhone 11 keyboard problem

My brand new iPhone is having issues . Looks like specific areas of my screen don’t work. My letter "i" is not working on my iphone 11 keypad. Also number 8 isn’t work g if using numerical keyboard.

Letter 'i' does work when phone rotated lengthways but once righted it does not. I updated to iOS 13.4.1. and Hard reset twice and talked to tech support.

anyone else have this problem ?

Kuwait: I had exactly same issue with my iPhone 11 keyboard, which I had bought around 4 months back. Letters 'c' and 'f' were not working in portrait orientation. On typing these letters, the adjacent letter to the left or right will type. When I switched the phone to landscape orientation, both the keys would work. Also the power slider and slider to accept calls were not working. I tried resetting the phone but it didn't help. I took the phone to the retailer "Best". They sent it to Apple authorized service center DIGITS in Kuwait. They repaired the phone by replacing the screen. It is working fine now. Ideally they should have replaced the full unit and not just the screen. I called apple customer care and informed them about this. They said that authorized service center do the full test and decide whether to replace a particular component or the full unit.

Update. I have AppleCare.

Took to Best Buy, diagnosed unrepairable screen issues, but did not have same phone for replacement. Went to apple store same night, got a walk in appt, walked out 20 minutes later with new(possibly refurbished) phone that works properly. Was told to not restore phone from previous backup, because could’ve been caused by software issue. So basically had to setup phone as all new. But very happy to have issue solved.
