MacBook Pro overheating whilst playing games from Apple Arcade

Hi, I have MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports), which really overheats whilst playing games from Apple Arcade. Is that normal? How can I minimize the heat and fan noise? Mostly concerned about ruining my mac because of that. Thanks in advance

Oh dear.

if you want to reduce fan noise, forget it. Apple does that when possible and causes it to overheat as the fans don’t kick in till it’s too late and it overheats and the CPU thermally throttles.

you can download Macs Fan Control and before you open the Apple Arcade frank the fans at full blast first. Then you can proceed and play your game and it shouldn’t get as hot as last time.
