How to manage music on an iPod nano using "Music"

For years, I have used the various versions of iTunes to manage music on an iPod nano. However, with my new iMac, Apple killed iTunes and replaced it with "Music." Using the new Apple "Music" application, I have not been able to find any way to add or delete music from an iPod. Has anyone done this?
