Silicone cases

Hi everyone,

I'm using iPhone XR and have a cheap silicone case (not Apple product), i couldnt buy an original Apple case due to the lockdowns around the world. And it seems that my phone gets overheated easily and I was wondering if it could be because of the cheap silicone case.

Does anyone use the Apple iPhone silicone cases, and if you do, does your iPhone heat up easily? What do you think of the silicone cases?

iPhone XR, iOS 13

Hello,

The Apple silicone cases are very good. I use one myself. However, I don't think that Apple offers a silicone case for the iPhone XR. It only shows the clear case. You might have to try a third-party version via an on-line search.

However, I'm not sure that your current case is causing your over-heating issues. Try it for awhile without the case to see if it gets any better:

Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures

Good luck.
