Simply Piano

We had the free trial of Simply Piano but do not want to continue with it as we have found faults with it's functioning.

According to the Terms and Conditions info:

'If technical problems prevent or unreasonably delay delivery of Content, your exclusive and sole remedy is either replacement of the Content or refund of the price paid'

There was no email to remind about the end of the free trial so when I went to cancel the subscription today thinking it was 7 days since the start of the trial, I found that the subscription had been charged.

It is a high annual fee for an app with a lot of social media hype promising great results. However we found two main isses with functionality: you could score marks without even playing the keys and the musci score did not sync with the music being played.

Please advise on how to get a refund of the annual fee.

Hey SimplyPiano,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I understand you have some questions about how to request a refund. I am happy to provide some information to help.

You can find the process for requesting a refund here: Request a refund for apps or content that your bought from Apple

You can also connect with the App Developer to provide feedback about the features you would like to see improved. You can see how to do that here: How to contact an app developer

Thanks again, and have a great day!

We followed your advice to report a problem on the request a refund link. When I clicked 'Submit' the screen immediately displayed a message that my request did not meet the criteria for a refund.

There is no way my report can have been read so it must be an automatic response. As we have had before when dealiing with Apple , we are sent round in circles when support is required. Disatisfied customer!
