I cannot find googlesoftwareupdate.bundle in my computer. How do I find it?

iMac 27", macOS 10.15

~ tilde indicates hidden Home Library.

Apple hid the Users' Library folders...


Method 1:

  1. From the Finder, select the Go menu at top of the screen, and choose Go to Folder.
  2. In the window that opens, enter ~/Library, and click Go.

Finding and Deleting this:

Use Spotlight Search, and see if it pops up. Then, select to show it in Finder. Finally Delete it:


Find It:

  1. Open Spotlight Search: [Hold-Down: Command + Press: Spacebar]
  2. Type This: googlesoftwareupdate.bundle
  3. Select: Show all in Finder...


To Delete it:

  1. Right Click: it
  2. Select: Move to Trash
  3. Open: Trash
  4. Right-Click: it
  5. Select: Delete Immediately...
  6. Click: Delete button
