Macbook Air won’t let me log in to Microsoft Office 365

Through my university I was able to download Microsoft Office 365 for free. However I had to re download it after I factory reset my Mac because it had problems after the Catalina update. Now, my Mac doesn’t let me log back in to Microsoft Office. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The instalation was sucsessful, but when I try to log in at Onenote, Word etc, its just loading, or it says «there is a problem with your account, try again later». I cant log in to office online either, because the web-page is just blocked after I have tried to log in. Im so confused, anyone knows what to do?

microsoft office not activating on new mac I recently got a new MacBook Air and used the migration assistant to move all of my files and information. When I go to use microsoft word or excel, it won't let me save my edits, saying i need to "activate" my Microsoft office. When I go to log-on, the cursor just spins and it won't take me anywhere. Has anyone else had this issue? I really don't want to have to purchase Office again.

Microsoft Office access When my mac updated to Catalina, I lost access to my microsoft office programs on my computer that I have had for 5 years. It shows that I have to purchase microsoft 365 to get access. When I try to use my apple id, it shows that I do not have a 365 account. Any thoughts on how to get this access restored?

Do you have an account through https://www.office.com ?

If so you can login there and download Office from there. Otherwise you might want to contact your University, since it's possible that they have arranged for your license if you don't have your own account.
