Why is there a yellow/orange circle on my macbook screen?

Hi all,

I downloaded google drive desktop app last night and ever since I downloaded it there is this weird yellow/orange circle that appears on my screen.

I can't click on it, select it, or anything.

It temporarily disappears when I access mission control but comes right back.

Does anyone know what the issue could be and how I can get rid of it? Thank you!
