Apple update

I hate the fact that when trying to update an iphone using itunes, when connection is lost or when the download is paused, the whole process has to start again

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help updating your iPhone through iTunes. It sounds like you are losing the connection and have to start again.


For reference see: Update software on iOS and iPadOS devices in iTunes on PC.


Be sure you have the most recent version of iTunes on your PC: Update to the latest version of iTunes


You should also make sure that you have a good connection to the internet. You may even want to change the cable connecting your iPhone to your PC.
