The podcast I produce is not downloading on Apple Podcasts. Stream is OK, but no downloads.

My podcast, Passion & Perspective, is hosted on Apple Podcasts (plus others), via the Anchor FM site.

There have been issues with the downloading of the episodes through Apple Podcasts. Streaming sometimes works, but no luck with downloads. For context, other sites (e.g. Spotify) are working fine.

Appreciate any support or guidance. Thanks, Jonathan

The URL of your top episode is

https://anchor.fm/s/12b825d8/podcast/play/12400964/https%3A%2F%2Fd3ctxlq1ktw2nl.cloudfront.net%2Fproduction%2F2020-3-14%2F64395421-44100-2-75795eb3c9d42.mp3

This is plainly not correct (and indeed it doesn't work) as you have 'https' in there twice. Even if you remove everything before the second https and convert the coding for : and / it still doesn't work.

When subscibing in iTunes, it appears to download the file but then says it is corrupted or may be a type that iTunes cannot play. Attempting to access the file in a browser brings up an error saying no playable video file is found.

You will need to take it up with Anchor.
