No full screen when clicking on link

I find this very annoying and I would like to get rid of it so the link opens to full screen as the thumbnail size is very difficult to read and to enter any required details. The answer previously given on this subject does not solve the problem. If there is no way to solve this the perhaps Apple should consider removing it on the next iOS 13 update.
