period and comma keys stopped working

Hi

After updating MacOs period keys and comma keys on keyboard have stopped working

MacOS High Siera 10.13.06

Try an external keyboard (doesn't have to be from apple). If it works ok, the internal one is likely damaged.

Do those keys produce nothing at all or some other character?

Hi Tom,

They produce nothing at all, even when shift key is depressed, i.e. no semi colon o colon either.

Can you suggest a solution?
