Blank screen in iTunes/Music

I can search and browse through Apple Music, but when I click on anything -- an album, a playlist, a broadcast -- all I get is a blank screen.

This problem has persisted for two weeks. I've restarted the app and my machine repeatedly.

I'm using iTunes 12.8.2.3 on a Mac running El Capitan.

Mac Pro, OS X 10.11

It's now been four months and a new MacOS has been announced, so my only hope is to get an definite answer from Support as to whether iTunes is still considered compatible with El Capitan. That would tell me whether it's been abandoned or not. I'll post if I get that answer.

I am using a PC (microsoft) and get blank screen in the store. Apple disabled one of my podcasts and I was trying to re-subscribe and can't. Upgrading did nothing to help.

Honestly, I'm done with Apple. Going to find my podcasts on soundcloud from now on. And just buy the CDs for music. Easy to upload and you don't have to rely on Apple to keep your purchases.

Yes, exactly the same problem. I can add an album from Apple Music to my library, and it works normally. But when I try to choose it in Apple Music -> blank screen.

I even contacted to Apple support. Only advise was to reinstall El capitan. I am so desperate, I tried it. I couldn´reinstall for some reason. So I got my system back from Time machine, whoah.

I guess that El Capitan users have to give up with Apple Music. I wouldn´t want to, ´cause everything works with my iPhone and iPad. But if Apple Music will not work correctly with my Mac Pro, I will have to start using Spotify or Tidal or something.

This quite ridiculous. I´ve been a Mac use since 1190s, and this actually very first time that I´m very disappointed.

Apple Music does not work properly eb´even in Safari (in Chrome it does). Search does´t work. But that is not the thing. It has to work in iTunes as usual.

I will use my Mac Pro as long it works, will not update my machine because of Apple Music, haha!

So I have to end using Apple Music. Have anyone any recodemmations? Which is better, Tidal or Spotify or…?

I've found this as well. The last version of Safari that runs under El Capitan on Mac Pros won't really run Apple Music's own website, which I agree is ridiculous -- I use it with Chrome as you do.

I don't know about you, but Apple Music isn't the only thing that doesn't function very well (or at all) in El Capitan for me anymore -- I've had lots of issues with Safari, Mail, and syncing with iCloud.

I have only a little experience with other services (and I miss Beats dearly), but Spotify has by far the largest collection outside of Apple Music. Tidal is higher quality but a more focused library. I think for any sort of Apple-style syncing features on Spotify you need their Premium service.
