Screen overrun IPhone 11 on some apps

I am trying to play games that require to be be rotated on its side. The games are not visually correct as part of the app is cutoff at the headset region of the iPhone 11. I do not have the zoom function on so it isn’t that. It seems to me like a display calibration issue. Is this something that can be fixed. This is a brand new phone. Just got it Friday. If I take a screenshot, it shows everything but on the screen, you can’t see parts of the app.

Hello jmccarthy78,

There is not a setting for any type of re-centering when using your iPhone in the horizontal position.

Based on the description of the issue, these are the troubleshooting steps that would be best to start with:

1 - Quit the app which are exhibiting the issue you've described with these steps: How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

2 - Restart your iPhone & try using one of the apps again.

3 - If the issue persists, go to Settings > General > Software Update and see if there are any iOS available. As of today the latest iOS version is iOS 13.4. If you find you need to install the update, first backup your iPhone with these steps: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

4 - Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch & check for any app updates from the App Store.

5 - After all updates have been installed, try again and see if there is any change with the apps.

6 - If the issue persists, contact the app developer. Here's how: How to contact an app developer.

Take care.
