Adjustment Layers for Color Correcting

Is it better to use adjustment layers for color correcting and grading or should I NOT use them for that? Does it make a difference? Thank you for your help.

Color Balance in FCPx - Colorboard / Color Wheels What do you guys use to get the balance right ? I am now grading my stuff in FCPx and coming from Photoshop and Lightroom this is a bit of a change. I get different results using the color wheels as opposed to using the Color Board. I kind of find the Color Board more accurate while the Color Wheels are more intuitive but I am uncertain. In Lightroom and adobe camera RAW I basically adjust the Temperature and Tint sliders and I'm good to go but in FCPx I am not being that lucky. I am getting a little help from these guys. First allows me to sample a pixel and check its color which is nice for monitoring grays and whites. Contrast What screen presets with good resolution in settings would work best for photos or how do I correct balanced the color? Would Mac have already a made presets for or is there something i could find links to downloud something? Or to have a nice color which already offered works best?

My I movie on my mac book pro changes the colour contrast as soon as uploaded what to do? My I movie app on max book pro changes the colours and makes it look bright as soon as uploaded I am losing original resolution

My preference is to use them. They fit in nicely with my workflow.

It is a perfectly good way to work for applying the same grading/corrections over a bunch of clips or a whole timeline.

To elaborate a little more: if you have specific corrections to do in particular clips, apply them directly to the clips; overal grading/looks, do it in an adjustment layer.
