Alphanumeric keyboard on lock screen of iPhone x

Hi,

When I tried to use Face ID it is asking me to enter password to enable face ID and then I am seeing alphanumeric keyboard on the lock screen from yesterday on my iPhone X.This is strange as I did not enable alphanumeric passcode or change any settings.I just used my phone 10 minutes before and after that it is acting weird.I tried to switch the keypad to 123 numerical keyboard and entered the correct passcode but the phone is not unlocked.I tried restarting the device and the issue is same.I am sure that I haven’t changed my passcode or any settings related to passcode or Face ID.I am posting this from a different photo as I can’t unlock my phone.please refer to the attachment of my screen.Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.I cannot take my phone to apple store a there is lockdown in my country right now.

Smart Phones neither have the intelligence nor has the hostility. Hence we need to look at our device settings and the way we synchronise our smart phones with Mac/PC/iCloud and also how careful are we in sharing our sensitive and valuable informations with friends and family members.

If you are not the owner then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their apple ID.

If someone has changed the passcode or If you forgot your passcode, or if a message says that your device is disabled, learn what to do.

You need a computer to follow these steps. If you don't have a computer, borrow one from a friend.

I am sorry, if you have forgotten your Lock Screen passcode and there is no backup, then all data is lost, if you have one, not to worry.

Without backup what you will get back is what you have synced to iCloud and uploaded to iCloud Drive; information already synced and stored in iCloud, like Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Mail, Notes, Voice Memos, shared photosiCloud Photos *, Health data, call history, and files you store in iCloud Drive.

*-If you had turned on iCloud Photos, your content is automatically stored in iCloud.

Hi Sravan,

Thanks for your response.I have already did the factory reset and luckily I was able to revert all my data using iCloud. So I followed the regular instructions which were done to unlock the phone when we forgot the passcode.

But here in this case I know my passcode so everything came back as normal. This dint still answer my query as I was supposed to enter a 4 digit passcode every time then how come there was a different screen pop out showing alphanumeric keypad and when I switched it to numerical keypad and entered the right password but still the phone dint get unlocked, infact it got disabled after trying many times. So is this one of the IOS 13 software update glitch?
