Bluetooth Headphones in GarageBand

Hi. I can connect my Bose Quiet Comfort 35 headphones to my mac laptop to use with itunes and other software but when I try to use them to record different flute tracks in GarageBand, it asks me to connect audio device (headphones) and then there is silence or I say no to connect and it plays through the laptop speakers.

Help?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

Greetings,

I bought a pair of Creative WP-350 bluetooth headphones. For curiosity sake I tried to use them for recording in Garageband. To my surprise they did show up in the list of output devices and I could hear Garageband track fine. However, the latency was too long for recording tracks. If the Bose don't show up in the output selection window I don't think they are going to work. I'm not sure who controls which devices are supported; Apple or the headphone manufacturer. Here's an image of how mine show up.
