Frozen iPhone 8

My iPhone 8 has frozen, and any attempt to reset it doesn't work. I have tried the holding down home button and side button, tried the volume then volume down then side (power) button - it resets, but still only get the apple logo on the screen.

This morning when I woke, the phone was somewhat working. Tried WhatsApp and got a message saying can't open due to no storage on the phone. Turned the phone off and tried to restart - it was glitchy and non-responsive. Tried opening mail, wouldn't load. Turned off again, and thats how it has remained.

I have now plugged the phone into my MacBook Pro 15" (2015) Mojave 10.14.6 and I can't find the phone in iTunes or Finder.

I have a new MacBook Pro that I think was hacked a few days ago (ZOOM????) and did a factory reset on that. Something is really not right here...its its only since I've started using ZOOM.

Any help would be amazing.

Thx.

iPhone 8, iOS 13

There is something amiss in your communication. iPhone is found in Finder only on macOS 10.15 and above and on iTunes anything lower than that.

Nevertheless...

Restart the device. That's it. If issue is not resolved... Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Try this first --> If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won't open ...

If iPhone still doesn’t turn on, or if it gets stuck during start up, see the Apple Support article If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t turn on or is frozen.

Thanks for the tips.

I have tried all of the restarts that you've mentioned here. For some reason, my computer doesn't seem to recognise any USB device when plugged in, so I can't even find the phone. All software updates are usually kept up to date. Even with the phone plugged in (tried both USB ports) it doesn't show up in iTunes (12.9.5.5). Even to search for the phone in spotlight - nothing.

Any other ideas???
