Frozen iPhone

My phone is an iPhone 8. It shuts down and restarts frequently and on one of these times it froze on the white screeen with the apple logo. Before I just force restarted it but this time I tried and it turned black and went back to the iPhone logo. I have tried to plug into a MacBook but it doesn’t show on iTunes. I have now force restarted several times. I just want my photos but some aren’t backed up. Any one have an answer?
