iphone 11 paint chipping

Hi iv been having the same issue. Im using an iphone 11 product red and sad to say that peeling off started to happen aftee couple of days i started using this. May be tough they wont reveal this issue would have been there in the bery first stocks

Apple should really look into this issue and resolve this issue for us! We pay so much for this premium phone and such thing happen to us? I’ve been an Apple user for more than a decade and I cannot accept this standard from Apple. Such a disappointment

I have some issue like this! My phone is also iPhone 11 red product and i just bought this phone about two months ago, and the body paint is already chipped off, i notice this today. I’m so disappointed with that.

It seems the camera ring is not anodized...its just painted....it hurts....mine too has started showing a small white spot on the camera ring and it irritates me every time i look at it...its just a month and i am taking care of my phone like a baby...case and screenguard from the moment i bought it...i even dont keep it on rough surfaces...once when the phone was in my jeans pocket....i took out and saw a white spot out of nowhere...quality control at Apple seems compromised...my feeling of a brand new phone just diminished in a second

My red 11 is chipping off around lens and charging port. Its getting much more noticeable and annoying. Sad to know apple calls it cosmetic damage to a manufacture defect and won’t replace instead having warranty. Is there any way to mask it and how do you gonna upgrade to 12

I have the same issue on my iphone 11 which I bought recently in July 2020. I was using it very carefully with a protective cover from the very first day. Then I noticed chipping after like 3 weeks of use but I can confirm it didn't even drop or scratch but just started chipping. This is very disappointing because it costed me $900 to buy this phone from Sri Lanka. Yup, that's the usual retail price here. Apple MUST address this issue!!!

I am facing a similar issue with my iphone se 2020 product red. Its 3 months old and has been in spigen case from day one. Recently I noticed that the red color is chipping around the camera ring. Its really disappointing as I really take good care of my phone.

Although it doesnot effect the functionality but whenever i look at it, i kind of feel bad for it.

My iphone 11's paint started chipping from the first month itself, it's mainly on the camera ring and the charging port🥺. Right after the paint started chipping i atarted feeling like am using a cheap phone eventhough it's very expensive in india🙂

My iPhone 11 also having the same issue since the day I brought it but they refused to replace it.

as it is out of the box they said i have to go to the service store for this issue and the service store refused to replace it too

Me too! I thought it was a dust particle only then when i tried to wipe, it wont ever come off because it is the paint chipping!! I also took good care of my phone and it just sucks for a brand new phone!

In previous response there was link to youtube which was pasted by button in this editor, but moderators removed that link. This is not surprising because in video I called to not buy new iPhone 12.

I know this post was posted along time ago and idk if you will see this but I should have responded to this along time ago too. I also have the same problem it’s only on the camera, it happened along time ago to I was just wondering if you found something or you bought another phone.

I thought I was alone! My iPhone11 is just two months and there were scratches all over the camera ring lens! It makes me really upset every time I look at it. I have been very careful with my phone and it has a case too. I tried buying a camera lens protector but it destroys the quality of the photo so I took it anyway. I don’t understand and don’t know what to do to prevent the scratches anymore.

I an also facing Similar issue. And it looks like manufacturing defect. Responsibility should be taken by Apple and resolution should be given. 6 months after purchasing the phone I started facing the issue, surprising! &
