Mail Considers IMAP Spam Folder Unread Count for Inbox Unread
Using the unified Inbox in Mail, an IMAP account that receives spam into its Spam folder (which Mail recognizes as a Junk folder) gets counted as unread. To explain:
Then, take a look at the Inbox. It shows two unread messages, but the inbox itself, in fact, all inboxes, have no unread messages.
Mail is treating new messages in Junk as unread Inbox. Is there a way to stop this? It only seems to happen with one of my IMAP accounts, and not with Gmail.
Thanks.
