Does the iphone se 2020 come with sim card

When I purchased the new iPhone SE last week, there were two options in terms of activation. 1) Have apple activate it for you (need some info from your phone carrier), or 2) activate it yourself upon arrival.
I chose the latter option, and now am worried because I'm not sure the exact steps I need to do in order to get my new phone up and running. I'm assuming I need to remove the SIM card from my old iPhone 6S and insert it into my new iPhone SE before I can get up and running? Are there any detailed instruction on how to do this??
bless you Nickglover; I was beginning to think I was going crazy. Now I’m ready for a slog. What a come down though. I’ve owned apple products since 1985 and they’ve always just worked. Too bad.

I bought a lot of their stock a few years ago so it’s hard to complain. Their recent dividend paid for phone. Buy some on dips if you invest. Everything a little high now.

Since Best Buy does not sell unlocked iPhones, yes.
I guess I need to call my carrier (T-mobile) to have the account transferred. I wish it was part of the set up process with the new phone.
