Check the charging port for lint or other debris and see this:
If your headphones don‘t work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you have AppleCare+, they should be covered, otherwise see this:
Apple One (1) Year Limited Warranty
If nothing works, try to test with another pair. It might be easier to just buy another pair while you pursue the warranty option.
