Power Adaptors

I have a little problem with power adaptors. First of all I am using all Apple adaptors. I have a very hard time matching which adapter goes to which device as I did not label them when purchased . The writing on the back is almost impossible, for me, to read. All cables are identical. For example can I connect an iPod or iPad to the power box that came with my laptop? What is the major factor I need to be aware of to get power to my devices. I have iPods, iPads, Pencil, EarBuds... Maybe I should not have so many devices. Fo now I am just plugging devices in and hopefully they will get charged. Any help and comments are welcome. Stay healthy and thanks for reading this.

Thank you for the link. That shed a lot of light on the subject. My problem is the tiny print and matching color for the adaptors usage stats. This is good news, for me, because I have two old laptops and can use their chargers. I keep the laptops around just to use as, sort of, a backup to the main computer. Thanks again and stay healthy.
