Plug in keyboard not working.

I have an iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2015) with Mojave 10.14.6. It came with a wireless keyboard. I replaced this with an extended Apple keyboard (not wireless). I plugged it in and it worked fine. After several weeks it suddenly stopped working. What could have happened?

Old Apple Wired Keyboard not Working with MacBook Pro 2022 I’m in the process of setting up my new MacBook Pro but my old Apple wired extended keyboard connected using an adapter (USB-A and USB-C) won’t work. When I plug the keyboard back to my MacBook Pro 2011, it works fine. I’ve tried rebooting and other online fixes such as checking the Accessibility settings but nothing works. Any ideas?

Please reset the SMC 2-3 times and it should work.
