Apple Watch

Hi, so if I was thinking of getting a Apple watch. I'm currently with 3three uk that is not supported by Apple Watch, so my question is, if I buy the GPS version and I have my phone with me most of the time and I have 4g on my phone, will I get messages and be able to use the apple watch with 4g or do I need the cellular one?

The GPS only Apple Watch can do  Everything  the cellular model can do  as long as  your iPhone is  nearby, where nearby is somewhere in the same 3-4 bedroom home (assuming typical wood frame construction).  And of course when the iPhone is with you when you leave the house.

The Cellular Apple Watch allows you to leave your iPhone at home while you go for a walk, run, bike ride, etc...

The Cellular Apple Watch shares the iPhone's phone number.  This requires the iPhone cellular carrier to support the Apple Watch.  The iPhone carrier charges a monthly fee for this service.  In the U.S. the fee is $10 per month added to your iPhone bill.

iPhone Cellular Carriers that support the Apple Watch, which models, the radio frequencies each model uses, and the country where they offer service:

PS. I have GPS only Apple Watch, and as I always have my iPhone nearby, it does everything I need. My Wife has the same Apple Watch, and often her iPhone is in the kitchen, and she frequently answers phone calls on her Apple Watch, and sends iMessages to me and other family members from her Apple Watch.

I should have mentioned, you need an iPhone 6s, SE (1 or 2), 7, or newer iPhone.

Yes, you can transfer offline music to the Apple Watch and listen to it using Bluetooth headphones. They do not need to be Apple headphones. I've paired 4 different headphones to my Apple Watch. Apple AirPods, Sony Noise Cancelling headphones, and two different 15 year old Bluetooth headphones. The hardest thing is finding the headphone instructions on how to put them into "Discovery Mode" so you can pair them. But once you find those instructions, they generally pair without any problems.
