Airpods Case not Charging

Earbuds are charging in the case when connected to charger but case not charging at all. Help?!

Hello,

Check all of the connections for lint or other debris. Try a different cable/port/outlet etc. and see this:

If your AirPods won’t charge - Apple Support

Thanks! The thing is, the charger is working because when the buds are IN the charger, they are getting charged, but the case itself is not charging. Just sits at 1%. When I open the case, it's green, but when I take the buds out it turns orange.
