Trying to free up storage, but can’t seem to get anywhere I am trying to free up storage and can’t seem to figure out why my files app takes up so much space It takes up 17 gb of space, yet when I go in there, there is only 1 file that is 2gb. There is nothing in my recently deleted, and everything else seems to be clear of files. In the photo I attached, all of the folders have no files in there. So how the heck is it taking up so much space!? I got got rid of most of my photos, all my internet cashe, and everything else that I could think of that would take up storage. I have many books on the iPad, but I want to keep those and it seems like they aren’t taking up too much space as the storage section says it only has a total of 83gb. What can I even do now? Huge Files app on iPadOS If this issue has been already resolved, I apologize. I have a 256 GB iPad Pro (2018). In the last couple of months I noticed that I’m running out of storage and the biggest “consumer” is the Files app (more than 100 GB). The problem is that I can’t check which files take so much space. Is there any way that I can see those files? Will it do any good if I try to offload the Files app? Thanks in advance your help. iPad 2020 storage Hello I have problems with my iPad storage. Firstly, is it normal that Google Drive files take space on my iPad? Secondly, sometimes when I check storage info, it is shown that there a lot of files in Files app, but when I open it, I see that maybe 500 MB is used. Is it an iOS problem that storage information is wrong? Please somebody help! :) It is really annoying that I should often delete apps and files to save at least a little bit of space on my iPad
