It is not ok to use the apple pencil 2 with video games? Only had my Apple Pencil for a week and then let nephew play video games with it one night. Now the iPad barely responds to pencil. Must hold the pencil straight up and down to get it to respond. Is video game tapping too rough for the pencil? The tip seems flatter too. Interested in your experience and knowledge. Thanks.

Nothing wrong with using the Pencil with video games, also, don't know of many that actually use the pencil beyond tapping like you would your finger.
More likely, the nephew was a bit too rough with the pencil, rather than being caused by the games themselves. The tips are not meant for continuous banging on the screen.
If the tip is damaged, you may need to change it. There should be a spare in the Apple Pencil's box.
