I need to call the UK from the USA. I will be calling from a UK mobile phone, and I will be calling a UK mobile phone. I don’t think I’ll be in the contacts of the phone I am calling.
Will the uk mobile number I am calling be able to see that I am in America? Even though I’m calling from a UK registered mobile.
if they can see that I’m in America, is there away to prevent this?

The caller ID on the phone you are calling will be the number on your phone, so if you still have the UK SIM card in the phone that is what they will see; however, there may be substantial roaming charges if you don’t have a roaming calling plan.

Your UK phone will ring if someone calls your UK number, no matter where you are. That assumes you leave your UK SIM in the phone and you have international calling enabled on your phone. But check with your carrier what it costs. Without a roaming discount plan it could cost quite a bit.
