Can location history be pulled up after a device has been removed from "Find My"?

My iPad was recently stolen. The first thing I tried to do was use the "Find My" app. I noticed they had changed the name of the ipad, but I wasn't getting any location pings. I locked it as "lost", but after days of still getting no pings or locations, I unlocked it to try and see if I could get at least one location notification when they first tried to unlock it and mess with it again. Unfortunately, they removed it from "Find My", but I was wondering if there was any way to see if there was an initial location recorded when they first logged in.

iPad Air, iOS 12
