How do I remove an Apple ID email account that has not yet been verified but will not let me put new email and Apple I’d created in.

How do I remove an Apple ID email account that has not yet been verified but will not let me put new email and Apple I’d created in.

If the email address is on a iDevice showing activation lock, then you will not be able to do so unless you know the Apple ID/Password of the person that set the device up before activation lock was enabled. If you know these credentials, set the device up and change the Apple ID.

Before changing your Apple ID using a computer, sign out of all Apple services that use your Apple ID. If necessary, if you are the original owner, contact Apple ID Support. Apple Support will need to see the original purchase receipt with the serial number/paperwork.
