I want to delete a suggested email address that pops up when I write an email on my iPhone. I know I can delete it with the info icon next to the name, but sometimes there are no info buttons. How can I delete such a contact from recents?
It is only one contact that does not show the info button. Others I can delete. I contact this person once or twice a year. The last time 5 weeks ago, and it still pops up. I do like getting the suggestions when I start typing an email address, I just want to get rid of this particular one. Anyway, I tried the Siri suggestions, and deleted my browsing history. It worked the first time I tried composing an email, the second time the contact popped up again. I do not understand why this particular contact has no info button.

What I have experienced is when you keep using the iPhone regularly the contacts with whom you interact recently and regularly will only appear here.
If you do not interact with a contact then it will disappear automatically.
