Join video in Photos for Mac?

I know the app is called Photos, but I collect all my photos and videos and use iCloud library as well, its a more streamlined path for me.

Is there a way in Photos for Mac to join 2 videos together? Or will I have to export and use QT? Or is there an extension for Photos for Mac that can?

thanks

You can also use iMovie to join the video clips. It would have the added advantage, that you can stabilise shaky video or enhance the lighting and colors or add transitions, before you join the clips.

When you export the video clips from Photos with"File > Export > Export unmodified original", the quality will remain the same. If you simply drag the videos out of the Photos window it will just save the previews of the video clip. They may not necessarily be full resolution versions of the video clips. So use "File > Export" to save the video clips, not drag and drop.

QuickTime Player will allow you to export the combined clips with up to 4k resolution, if the originals are having this quality.
