External Monitor Display
I have a MacBook Air High Sierra Version 10.13.3. How do I keep my external monitor on display while the MacBook is closed? Right now the monitor goes dark when I shut the MacBook.

I should say, my company issued 13" Macbook Pro is closed all the time.
It is attached to a CalDigit TS3 Thunderbolt 3 dock, which has a USB keyboard, DisplayPort attached monitor, and a Bluetooth Magic Trackpad. And a ton of external storage attached to the CalDigit for various backups and other bulk storage.
It runs just fine with the lid closed.
would like the model of the display but see if there is a SETUP on the display so you can select the connection type to the Air.
Looks like I just have to have my MacBook charging. All good now! Thanks for replying!
