Macbook Air recognizing battery but not charging

So I have a Macbook Air with model number A1465. I spilled a bit of water on it a bit back and the thing still works except for a few things:

1) The battery won't charge.

2) The device can't run off of the battery.

The battery IS recognized by MacOS but it just refuses to charge. I have tried resetting the SMC but that didn't do anything. Any ideas? Do I need to replace the logic board?

It might not need a new logic board, but only an Apple Store or authorized Apple repair shop can make that determination: Start here.
