all dictionaries are missing after updating to macOS Catalina

hi everyone

I recently updated my mac to Catalina and all my dictionaries are lost. I cant even find the dictionary files in the finder. just wondering if anyone else has ran into this issue because i could not find any related threads on the forum.

just to give you an idea, When i click on a word with 3 fingers, it shows no local dictionary available. i tried selecting the dictionaries from preferences but there arent any.

any kind of help would be highly appreciated. thanks

Yes— I have seen this before, a bug in the update process.
