Apple ID on iPhone SE (2020)
After setting up my new phone -- including setting a new Apple ID password from my desktop Mac -- the SE continues to reject the new password.
On SE "Settings" an alert says "Update Apple ID Settings: Some account services will not be available until you sign in again". But when I enter the new AID password, the gearwheel cranks for 60 seconds, then a "Verification Failed" message appears with no explanatory info. The password is working fine on my desktop Mac and my iPad.
