Mophie charging pad

I just received the single Mophie charging pad and nothing is working- I've plugged it in and put two different iPhones on it to charge and nothing is happening. There are no cases on either iPhone. Is there anything I haven't tried- the light on the pad has never come on.

Your iPhone SE is the new second-generation version, correct? See this:

How to wirelessly charge your iPhone 8 or later

If everything checks out and wireless charging still doesn't work, return the charging pad.
