Apple TV+
I was told that a first generation Apple TV is not able to play Apple TV+. That is fine. But when I try to mirror Apple TV+ from my Macbook, it turns the screen black. Does anyone know why?
If it really were a 1st gen then it does not have access to any 3rd party content, and iTunes store access was removed as was syncing with current versions of iTunes. It is considered EOL.
If it's a small black box then it's at least a 2nd gen. However, that is also classified as obsolete and no longer supported.
If you have a 3rd gen then it would have access to Apple TV Plus directly.
Airplay for Apple TV Plus would not be supported on 2nd gen.
