Cannot upload photos to Ebay

I have a fully updated MacBook Pro. I imported some pictures from my phone and tried to upload them to Ebay, but they have a grey border around them and I can't select them. I have older uploaded photos on my this same computer that I can upload. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

They might be in a format that eBay doesn’t support, like HEIC, for example.

In Photos select the images you need, select Export from the File menu, on next screen select JPEG as format, on the following screen select Desktop (or a folder on the desktop) as the destination.

Once done, use these exported images with eBay.
