I have gone into the my daughters screentime and set app limits, down time, and all catagories to 1 min. and "block at end of limit" . Tiktok and Episode game are still up and running on my daughters phone. PLease advise why these apps STILL run and how to limit.
screentime doesn’t work for tiktok Snapchat Instagram and YouTube — for both downtime and time limits. Don’t waste your time with so called apple support, as they font know how to fix the problem. I’ve reached the conclusion that Apple doesn’t care to fix the problem and is engaging in false advertising and consumer fraud regarding screentime. Apple — when are you going to fix this problem?
I am having the same issue with disney+ and in general some of them keep "coming off the restriction". So annoying.
They must be working on it because now Snapchat is doing what it should with Screentime, however, I still can’t restrict TikTok :-/
It now appears to be working. All apps are blocked when screen time is activated.
What did you do to get it working?
Now it’s not blocking Roblox. That used to work until this morning. Obviously Apple couldn’t care less about parental controls.
I didN’t do anything. It just started working.
Nothing in particular. I think they are making changes slowly so they may fix some but not all as they go along :-/

Hi All, I am as frustrated as everyone in this thread. I have noticed that TikTok is still available on my kid's phone even during the downtime time when ALL apps are restricted...
I had this problem, I have been at it for about an hour trying to fix it. Turn off "Share across devices". Fixed. So strange.

I am still having the same issue. Unbelievable that Apple cannot get a solution.
Had the same problem and heres what did work for me.
Turn off all parental controls and remove passwords.
Turn phone off.
Turn back on
Re-setup Parental controls.
Tiktock was immediately blocked.
I have done this and over time it goes back off!!
Same experience here - very frustrating TikTock and Snapchat not responding to app limits. Everything else is.
