Apple Pencil (2nd generation) not pairing with iPad Pro

  • Noticed today that my pencil is not recognized by my iPad.
  • Bluetooth is working for other devices.
  • The pencil was attached for charging, but I cannot locate the battery status.
  • I have restarted and hard restarted the iPad.

I have been trying that and even that doesn’t work. I kept it off of the magnetic charger for up to ten minutes. Not sure if there is a way to hard-reset the pencil.
