If you're having trouble pairing your Apple Pencil with your iPad, there are a few things you can try:

  1. Make sure that your Apple Pencil is charged. If the Pencil's battery is low, it may not be able to pair with your iPad. You can charge the Pencil by plugging it into the Lightning port on your iPad or using a separate charging adapter.
  2. Turn off and on Bluetooth on your iPad. To do this, go to the "Settings" app, tap "Bluetooth," and toggle the switch next to "Bluetooth" to the off position. Wait a few seconds, then toggle the switch back to the on position.
  3. Restart your iPad. To do this, press and hold the "Power" button until the "Slide to Power Off" slider appears. Slide the slider to turn off your iPad, then wait a few seconds and press the "Power" button again to turn it back on. Restart your iPad – Apple Support (UK)
  4. Make sure that your Apple Pencil is close to your iPad when you're trying to pair it. The Pencil should be within about 3 feet (1 meter) of your iPad to ensure a strong and stable connection.
  5. Try pairing your Apple Pencil with another iPad. If you're able to pair the Pencil with another iPad, the issue may be with your original iPad. If you're unable to pair the Pencil with any iPad, the issue may be with the Pencil itself.
  6. Try reseting your network settings. If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network – Apple Support (UK)

If none of these steps help, you may need to contact Apple Support for further assistance. They may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue or provide additional guidance.
