FaceID failure.

Why did FaceID died? Its working few hours after every restart of my iphone.

I have iPhone X so I could believe that It’s way too old too work, but my work mate have iPhone XS with exactly the same issue..?

While the FaceID failure appears, the FaceID icon showing face scanning while unlocking won’t stop spinning, I can wait in hours and it’s still spinning.

I’ve tried all those easy steps from support and it doesn’t help. I’ve read on some web that I need to contact with Apple support if those steps doesn’t help.

Well, it looks like you don’t understand problem I have. I’ve already tried those steps before I turn my self to support communities. But thank you anyway for your answer.

Ill try to describe it best I can.

When the FaceID dies on my iPhone it just stops to recognize my face. The icon showing FaceID scanning on the top of the screen spins forever, it never stops spinning. Then, I need to unlock my phone with my code. I can’t add an alternate appearance because when I try to do that I got an error pop up window with a message “Face ID Is Not Available | Try setting up Face ID later.” (Check screenshoot)

I got the same error pop up window when I try to reset Face ID.

As it is now, restart of my phone helps and it brings Face ID back to life, but it’s solving the problem for some hours.
