MacBook Pro Gets Hot a Lot

Hi, everyone!

I purchased a MacBook Pro about two months ago. I've noticed that quite often it gets really hot--is this normal? I upgraded from an Air to Pro thinking it would give me more power and capability, but I never had this issue with my Air.

If the overheating is not normal, how would I fix? Thank you!

Okay well then it's perhaps best for you to contact Apple Support. They may have you perform an SMC reset. Keep in mind your Mac is perhaps performing correctly. The 2019 MacBook Pro is more powerful than your Air. Just a quick note, Chrome is a major resource hog and will cause your Mac to get hot and drains battery fast.
